It's normal, you obviously haven't used your wrist a lot in sports.
Oh and also, if you don't let your serves/swings/hits follow through then that's the problem (Like when you serve, if you don't let your racket go all the way down after hitting the ball, you'll put pressure onto your wrist and will cause it some severe damage)
References :
I used to not let my hits follow through because it was faster but nearly ruined my wrist in the process.

If your wrist hurts a LOT then it could mean that you're using your wrist too much and should be using other muscles as well, not just wrist
References :
I live in Australia and it is pretty big here; a lot of people play it and it is very popular. Problem is, we don't get enough international player because there is very little support etc. for up and coming players.
References :
well tennis is not big in india.
on the websites like rediff and yahoo india-u have a section for cricket, and one for sports.

so that sums it up-i dont know if u know, but cricket is BIG in india,it is religion for indians.people love their cricket.

tennis has picked up after sania mirza and new tournaments in india-i really hope it gets bigger but as of now-the biggest is and always will be cricket in india, after that football and then i would say tennis.
References :
If you just started this year, you probably don't need to worry about getting tennis shoes. You will be fine just using any running or cross training shoe with a non-marking outsole.

If you really want to get some tennis shoes, don't worry about getting any of the shoes above $80. Most of these come with six-month outsole warranties, and I doubt that you will be able to wear through the outsole that quickly at your level.

You can find decent tennis shoes online for uder 65 bucks. Those should work just fine for you. This biggest thing is comfort. Unfortunately, if you are buying online there is no way to try the shoes on before buying them. I haven't bought any shoes from tenniswarehouse.com, but I've gotten several pair from midwestsports.com. They have a good return policy on the shoes, so if you decide you don't like them, you can return them and try a different pair.
References :
Not likely but it could be that you have a cyst (pronounced sist) on your wrist.
This is a small fluid filled pocket that is slightly painful when wrist is rotated.
I had it and I got it checked out and the doc said if it stays u need minor surgery but mine eventually just went away.
Probably not what you have but its just a possibility
